Hilton Head's Irish Fest festivities kick off on March 16, 2024, with an Irish concert at Lowcountry Celebration Park. Beginning at 3 p.m., this concert showcases a wide assortment of Irish music until 9 p.m. Bring a blanket or a folding chair and soak in the beautiful and unique sounds of fiddles, pipes, flutes, and vocals from talented performers. As you bob your head and immerse yourself in the music, you'll feel as though you've been transported to Ireland.

Irish Fest continues on March 17, 2024, with the main event - the Hilton Head Island St. Patrick's Day Parade. The Hilton Head Island St. Patrick's Day parade is the oldest St. Patrick's Day parade in all of South Carolina, so you know the festivities are taken seriously. Wear green and find a spot on Pope Avenue to watch as floats, boats, trucks, cars, golf carts, bikes, horses, dogs, marching bands, and more march the street.
This year, the famous Budweiser Clydesdales are making an appearance! Watch as these majestic creatures trot along the parade route, pulling a restored beer wagon. It's quite the spectacle to behold.
The Hilton Head Island St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at 3 p.m. If you don't want to find a parking spot for the parade, you can enjoy a free trolley ride from the Breeze Trolley. Running from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on parade day, the trolley picks up at the University of South Carolina Beaufort Hilton Head and drops you off near Lowcountry Celebration Park. Please note that this is only a one-way ride.
