IrishFest & the Hilton Head Island St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Hilton Head Island IrishFest is a multi-day celebration filled with live music, cultural performances, family-friendly activities, and, of course, plenty of Irish cheer. In 2025, this event kicks off on March 15 with an Irish concert at the Tiki Hut. Enjoy food, drinks, and, of course, live Irish music, which is sure to get you in the mood for the rest of the festivities.
The main event of IrishFest is the Hilton Head Island St. Patrick’s Day Parade, one of the largest and most anticipated celebrations in the area. This annual parade features colorful floats, lively music, and plenty of Irish spirit. The streets come alive as locals and visitors line up to watch the spectacle. 2025 is the parade’s fortieth anniversary, and you can enjoy it on March 16 at 3 p.m. on Pope Avenue. Make sure to arrive early to get a great viewing spot!
You can enjoy the festivities without worrying about parking or traffic by hopping on the Breeze Trolley. From 11 a.m. through 2 p.m., the trolley is picking up riders at the University of South Carolina Beaufort Hilton Head and dropping them off near Lowcountry Celebration Park.

No St. Patrick’s Day is complete without some delicious Irish food and a pint of Guinness.
