Events at the 2024 Hilton Head Island Wine and Food Festival
What sets the Hilton Head Island Wine and Food Festival apart from other festivals is its comprehensive lineup of events throughout the week. The festival kicks off on March 24 with the Craft Beers at the Beach event, where you can sample over 50 craft beers from local breweries. From hoppy IPAs to easy-drinking lagers, you’ll sip a wide variety of local brews.
The festivities continue on March 27 with the Sip and Stroll event at Shops at Sea Pines Center, where you can shop until you drop with a glass of wine in hand. In addition to all of the shopping at Shops at Sea Pines, there's also a pop-up market with handmade crafts from local artisans. Live music from talented bands and musicians offers a great soundtrack for your shopping and sipping experience.
For more wine tasting opportunities, head to Lucky Beach Bar + Kitchen on March 28 for Stay Gold. This event combines live music, Lowcountry cuisine, and Double Gold wine sampling from the international judging competition. See, swirl, sniff, sip, and savor the best of the best wines available while enjoying the festive atmosphere. Another option is the Grand Tasting, where attendees can sample award-winning wines. However, the Grand Tasting event is already sold out.
The main event is the Public Tasting event at Lowcountry Celebration Park on March 30. This is the Hilton Head Island Wine and Food Festival’s largest event, featuring over 250 wines from around the world, chefs competing in the Outdoor Gourmet Challenge, a craft beer garden, live music, and more. This is your chance to discover a new favorite wine, taste delicious food from talented chefs, engage with new people, and enjoy Hilton Head Island’s beautiful weather.
