4 of the Best Things to Do for Spring Break on Hilton Head

"You can cut all the flowers, but you cannot keep spring from coming." —Pablo Neruda

1. Spend Time With Your Kids

Between school, work, soccer games, piano lessons, and everything in between, it can feel challenging to find time for bonding with your children. Take advantage of spring break by prioritizing your relationships with the kids. Create lasting memories, take incredible photos, and enjoy quality time with your loved ones.

  • Horseback Riding at Lawton Stables: Do something a little different this spring break and opt for horseback riding! Lawton Stables offers Western-style trail rides through the 605-acre Sea Pines Forest Preserve. They also have a petting zoo.

  • Dolphin Tours: Watch your kids’ faces light up as dolphins breach the surface of the ocean. There’s truly nothing more magical. Share this experience with your kids, and you’ll have a memory that will last a lifetime.

  • Adventure Cove Mini Golf: Leave your phones behind and get engaged. A rousing round of mini-golf is sure to include lots of laughs, some holes-in-one, and a great deal of fun for the whole family.

  • The Coastal Discovery Museum: You and the kids will have so much fun learning about the Lowcountry’s diverse ecosystems at The Coastal Discovery Museum! You might even get the chance to see some local species of animals up close.

  • & so much more!

2. Be Adventurous

With the weather well on its way to warmer temperatures, now is the perfect time to get outside! Enjoy the fresh air, work out your muscles, and enjoy the beauty of nature. Maybe you’d like to get out on the water. Perhaps you would prefer soaring through the sky. Regardless, you’ll find that there are so many outdoor adventures waiting for you on the island!
