There are few better places to get fresh seafood than along the coast of South Carolina. Though you may have had some out-of-this-world lobster rolls up in Maine or a delectable dish of mussels and white wine, but down South, oysters are king. At the Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival, you’ll find no shortage of these tasty mollusks along with local fish, shrimp, clams, and crabs. Seafood lovers will not want to miss this annual event! Grab your tickets today before they sell out!

Our Favorite 3 Things About the Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival
Hands-On Events
During the week-long Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival, there are a handful of exciting food-related events throughout the island for you to attend! If you’re looking for more of a hands-on event, try attending the Lowcountry Seafood Experience on the Water. You’ll embark on a two-hour boat excursion during which you’ll catch shrimp, oysters, clams, and crabs before bringing them back to shore to dig in! You can also learn how to shuck your own oysters at the Pig Pickin’ and Oyster Roast. Or, get expert tips from Chef William Dissen at the Celebrity Chef Master Class.
Friends of James Beard Southern Supper
The Hilton Head Island Seafood Festival offers so many opportunities for attendees to get a taste of Lowcountry seafood. On Thursday, February 27th, join a team of James Beard Award-Winning chefs as they prepare a special dinner in The Shorehouse at the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort.
Saturday Seafood Fest + Sunday Champagne Breakfast
