Your Holiday Guide to the Hilton Head Winter Wonderland Festival
Events That Will Make You Smile
There are so many ways to get in the holiday spirit at the Winter Wonderland Festival. With various family-friendly activities, the little ones can enjoy this celebration just as much as the adults. Grandparents and parents should know that these kids' activities are too darn cute, so remember your camera! The event kicks off with the Children’s Elf Parade. Shortly after, the golden candy cane hunt begins!
Activities Throughout the Day
Following the opening events, there are plenty of ways to keep the kiddos happy. Hayrides, face-painting, carnival games, and bounce houses are just the beginning. And of course, Santa Claus is always the superstar of the celebration! Mr. & Mrs. Claus always want to see their friends on the nice list, so remember to visit if you know someone who could use a few tips!
Eat Well & Be Merry
Hilton Head Wonderland is a child-centered event, so quite naturally, that calls for a kid-approved menu. Enjoy festive treats, like s'mores, hot chocolate, and roasted marshmallows. You'll also find other festival-inspired concessions like hot dogs, pizza, french fries, and more.
Tips for Your Trip
- Admission to the event is always free, and that includes your visit with Santa, the Elf Parade, entertainment, and more. Keep in mind there may be a small fee for food, beverage, and select activities, like the rock-climbing wall.
- Winter Wonderland Festival takes place at Shelter Cove Community Park. If your kiddos are interested in the parade, remember to arrive early. It's always nice to park the car and settle in before the parade begins.
